Dawlish Discussion

Anyone know anything about this place. as it never looks like it's open. There are a couple of bad reviews on TripAdvisor from 2012 so I suppose it must be but I wondered how a big place like that on the front seems so quiet.

An aquaintance of mine stayed there back in May.

She didnt say whether it was a nice place to stay or not.

@Mcjrpc. i have stayed there before and i did not like it. i think its better that you go to the blenheim which is right on the corner of marine parade. lovely owner and very helpful husband and always there to help. lovely dog as well. good reviews on trip advisor.does a beautiful big breakfast. i have been going there for years.hope this helps.

Thanks, I stayed at the Blenheim years ago and liked it.  Always thought that Oceans looked a bit off putting, particularly as it's right on the front, but have never had the nerve to go in and enquire! 

@Mcjrpc. i have been holidaying in dawlish since i was 16, i have just turned 54. i have been to the blenheim for a good few years. always enjoyed it. oceans always looks empty to me.
