AN INVESTIGATION is under way after a 47-year-old construction worker from Liskeard was crushed by a forklift truck.
John Small died from injuries he sustained during the incident at a construction site in Dawlish, Devon, on Friday, June 28.
A rapid response team, ambulance and air ambulance were all dispatched to the scene at Secmaton Lane at just after 4pm.
Mr Small, who worked for Steve Hoskin Construction Ltd, based in Pensilva, near Liskeard, was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital by air ambulance but doctors were unable to save him
