At long last, they are working on a NEW Bridge.

The down side is that the spans, are WOOD.

I wonder how long it will last?

It is now finished and in use

And very nice it looks, BUT on close inspection, it doesn't appear to have been treated, so will have to be replaced again in a few years. 

It does look very nice & is doing the job it's supposed to. Wood is usually treated nowadays before it's sold so I'm assuming this is the case here. At least they got on with repairing it unlike Stonelands Bridge which is still missing a parapet on one side.
