More improvement needed for Primary School

According to an Ofsted report Gatehouse Primary School needs to make futher improvements to become a good school.

Inspectors said there had been too little good teaching in the school and students had not made the progress they should and there had been a high staff turnover.

A more recent visit by Ofsted said the senior leadership team has now been strengthened, teaching improved and pupils are making progress.

The head and acting deputy head have begun to tackle the school's priorities for improvement.

New senior leaders have been appointed which has strengthened the leadership team and enabled them to raise pupil's attainment.
