I think dawlish is a very nice place on the map and most folk I have meet are nice here but like most of us we dont like change .its the year 2007 not 50s 60s 70s and its a new world all over england u may not like it but belive me u lot have it good when i come to dawlish its like stepping back in time its great for a week or two then you go home to 2007 and its great too but its fast becoming like space belive me if you have been to london the thames gate way ect ect you know what I am on about so please enjoy and the next time you run down outsiders and new changes in dawlish just think about the changes all over england you have years before you see a real change.

Have you ever thought thats what people are trying to protect???? They don't want this area to change the way other areas have. Yes it can be a little quiet and yes it's hard for people to afford a place to live (like many other places) and yes you can't get back from Torquay on the bus after something ridiculous like 6 o clock but thats what they want. They want it to be peaceful isn't that what attracts a lot of visitors??? They want it to be relativley safe for their kids and old folk to be out after 6.30pm. That's why the don't want people moving in bringing there CITY ways with them because they like what they have already.

What about the late night buses from Torquay-Dawlish up until 2am?
The last bus from Teignmouth to Dawlish is 1135pm.. whats wrong with that?
Last bus from Torquay is NOT 6pm, its 9pm. use your free ticket and be home in time for your Horlicks lol.

Shut up ! You don't have a clue what your talking about. I live in the City of Gloucester and holiday in Dawlish, it's a lovely place to stay and NO, it's not stuck in the 1950's, if you don't like it, piss off.
