seagulls should be shot
right on, blast em.
its a pain in the arse trying to feed the ducks and gettin mobed by gulls, i see in cornwall they introduced 2 birds of prey to scare the gulls off,RE my earlier post maybe this is what dawlish have done
Gulls were here long before any of us arrived. It's our fault they now occupy the town. By all means shoot the idiots that feed them or leave food waste about. On a more serious note, I do agree they need culling but not by shooting.
well today i got home from work, and my ginea pig had been in garden like she is allways and a shite hawk had attacked her and killed her, shoot the gulls i say everyone hates them they are awfull they attck everyone . shoot the f**kers.

The Seagull Sniper is alive and well and living a few doors down from me. He now shoots pigeons, workmen, builders, passersby...
I was in Dawlish at the weekend and saw tons of kids on skateboards spitting and dropping litter, why not just shoot them !!! the gulls have just as much right to be there as any other animal or human.
Forget Skateboarders, seagulls are worse, I was taking my lunch break yesterday, they where attacking the swans, the whitewash was every where, there where many people on holiday trying to feed ducks and swans, but the gits just wouldnt give in. The numbers need to be sorted, if not by killing then by captureing and moving somwhere eles.
ok frequent visitor wait till the summer when the little f*ckers have their young if there is a baby gull outside your door when you visit you wont go outside the adult gulls swoop and attack you but i hope they do get you

If I was a seagull rather than sit out at sea like they used to, I would wait too for the next Shearing coach and expect an ice cream cornet end lol.

... well then, point me to a positive posting about Dawlish from a local. ..all you get is 'moan monn moan' about seagulls, crime, skateboards and holiday people, yet like their money and jobs they provide.
You wonder WHY new business, shops etc steer clear of the place. Just look at the topics on this board, it is from them that people judge and choose elsewhere..
As I say if you hate seagulls and the place so much, move...it is your choice.
Well said! The ones who should be shot, are the ones who believe killing, culling, etc of our wildlife - including swans, seagulls, pigeons, etc! You are incredibly cruel!
I agree too .. if people do not like Seagulls and all that comes with the sea, get packing if you've the get up and go!
Thing is, the seagulls arnt staying by the sea, theyre hanging around Gays Creamery and attacking and stealing ice creams out of peoples hands, i saw this for myself the other Sunday afternoon in town, where the gulls were attacking, we then went to the warren for a couple of hours to the beach........and guess what? not a seagull in sight!
