Dawlish Discussion

Now that the nominations for the Dawlish Town Council have been published, it looks as if poor old Dawlish will get more of the same. With 16 seats up for grabs and only 17 nominees, that means there will only be one minor skirmish in the North East Ward where there are 4 seats up for grabs with 5 candidates going head to head. All the rest will get in unaposed.
Maybe, just maybe, Tom Bush will get his marching orders, but then with his wife standing in another ward, God help us! Then there will not be too much of a problem there.
So I suppose Dawlish will continue to get the same old lies, misleading statements and plenty further from the truth than the man in the moon is from planet earth.
Those who see themselves as rational and liberal are, in fact, complicit in an, as yet unrecognised crime.
Never trust any politician, however far down the ladder they are.
They claim they are there for the benefit of everyone apart from themselves. Huh! "They put the lie to their own propaganda".
