Well done Glenda, you came to the Commons (for once) and bad mouthed someone that had just passed away, not to mention she devoted her whole life to our country.

Shameful Glenda, very shameful.

Talk about myth making and hyperbole! Devoted her whole life did she? She lived for 87years. 33 of which were spent as an MP.

I have no idea whatsoever how often or not Glenda Jackson turns up in the Commons (perhaps you could enlighten us as you seem to know) but however often that may or may not be is of no relevance at all to the fact that she had every right in the world to say what she did.

And was she frit about doing that?

No! No! No!

This thread was originally a posting by Brazilnut about a letter sent by someone in today's Govt to Glenda Jackson, it was not about Margaret Thatcher AT ALL.  So how come this has become yet another thread attacking someone who has just died?  Paul, did you actually bother to read the thread or did you just presume what it was about?

@DJ, i didn't read the article, i did just presume it was about margaret thatcher. i've been publicly shamed and have learnt my lesson. crying

Now having read the article and letters. Glenda is right to be outraged by a fellow politician, party chairman or not, sending her party BS, which can only be viewed as disrespectful.
