Motorists in Devon are being urged to drive carefully, with up to 8cm (3ins) of snow expected to fall in parts of the county on Monday.
The Met Office has issued an amber "be prepared" warning for parts of the county for the morning. So far the most snow has been reported on Dartmoor.
Snow has also fallen in South Hams, Newton Abbot, Kingsbridge and Torbay.
A flood alert has been issued for the south Devon coast because of strong winds and high tides.
The Environment Agency warning affects Beesands, Torcross, Slapton, Torbay and Dawlish.
