I will be switching off posting on dawlish.com this afternoon at around 1pm so that I can move the site to a new server with a new IP address and update it to the latest version.
It should only take a few minutes, but we will all see the old site for a while until the DNS change propagates through.

The update has now been carried out.
Dawlish.com now has private messaging so that people can provide private information such as a phone number or an email to another member as is sometimes necessary.
This is turned on by default, but can be turned off in the user settings section. Note that we only supply the username as the person who is making the contact in the message and not any other information such as email or name. People can reply to messages and again we only supply the username, so it is a secure and private way of making contact with other members.
Please feel free to message me if you want to try it out. I may not respond until tomorrow (Sunday) though.
If you get any spam or abuse please message me and I will act accordingly.
PS. Please press CTRL-F5 to refresh the site's colours which are just slightly sharper, hopefully.

Well done in adding private messaging and on the updates.
It took a few attempts to get it going again for me, even pressing Ctrl + f5. Had to do it a few times.
