Work started today
That would be the industrial/employment units would it? The ones that were due to be built as part of the planning permission for Sainsbury's to build a supermarket?
Are you seeing things? No work happening there, and not likely to be. Teignbridge planners have no intention of enforcing the section 106 agreement refering to this development.
Fred, the electricity tranformer was delivered to site on the 22nd January at approx 9.32am the site manager was onsite to oversee the delivery and installation, the cost of such a unit would be approx £20,000 and the site manager has been appointed.
I was told that an agreement had been reached and work would commence in January, it may be slow but it is happening.
Just out of interest did the site manager say who he was working for, only it dosent look like the transformer had anything to do with building industrial units but was an replacement/upgrade unit for Shutterton Ind Estate installed by Western Power.
