I was very impressed with Morrisons variety of products, so it gets the thumbs up from me, slight problem trying to find a parking space due to the number of cars.

Went there last week but to be honest, I wasn't that impressed apart from some of the different veg there.

I still prefer Sainsburys.

Yes, we popped along during its first week of opening. More out of curiousity than anything else as given where we live in relation to Sainsbury's the cost of the petrol going to and from Morrisons could easily outweigh any savings made by shopping there instead of Sainsbury's here.

We weren't impressed by M's. Admittedly it was its first week of being open so, like us, I suspect many were there out of curiousity, but we found it very crowded. There didn't feel to be as much space in the aisles as there is at Sainsbury's. Could just be an optical illusion of course - but we didn't find it a pleasant experience. Just made a mental note of some things we can buy at M's that we can't at S but will pop in to buy them when we are over that way on other business. Won't be making a specific journey to M's again.  We went looking for bargains but bought very little and came straight back to Dawlish went to Sainsbury's and did our weekly shop there as we have done ever since.

During the past 12 months shopping in Sainsburys i have recieved £112 in nector points and £68 on brand match coupons.  Taking into consideration the cost of running a car i doubt if i could save any money going to Morrisons so for me Sainsburys will be my first choice.

Thought the selection and quality of meat was better than Sainsburys.  Lots of veg I don't know what to do with(!).  It's nice to have a choice and nice for people in Teignmouth to have somewhere other than Co-op to shop in.

i think that sainsburys have done a great job for dawlish overall...the way it mingles into the green backdrop and scenery is perfect...you can see a lot of thought went into design and you would think it had been there years...the price match offer is excellent..and soon adds up as do nectar card points...but everyone must remember to use the town shops still...for both convinience...a friendly welcome and chat [especialy the oaps which i think is lovely] and to help dawlish stay alive ...time has proven sainsburys and the town shops can work together and the only winner is the local consumer.
