£25 in cash was found in Marine Parade and handed in to the Police Office in Brunswick Place.
Later the same day a wallet containing more than £130 cash was also handed in. The wallet was found in the Strand by two Dawlish teenagers, despite the claims by two men stood nearby that they thought it belonged to a friend. The girls were not convinced and the wallet was eventually handed over to the police.
The wallet was later reunited with its rightful owner.
