Ah, the power of democracy. Poor old Billson, that charming chap from tax haven Guernsey, got a taste of people power today at the Teignbridge Planning Committee meeting when the members voted 15 to 4 in favour of refusing his little scheme. 

Whilst he will obvioualy appeal and could yet get his project approved, the boot is firmly on the foot of local power against what has been deemed a pretty unpopular development.

Oh well! Round 1 to Dawlish!

Thank God the planning committee didnt fall for his little scheme with a 15 to 4 voting majority I dont see how he has grounds to appeal. The land isent even on the Dawlish plan for housing development and has been designated for employment use only.

Its Round 2 to Dawlish in reality because his Black Country Properties scheme also failed planning years ago.
