Obviously I mean the letter from the person who doesn't just preach, but also practices what she preaches.
The lady from the Carnival makes many valid points, some unnecessary and inappropriate points re the Chamber Of Trade, and hits the nail on the head about Eyes Of Dawlish.
It's great to read that 'doers' are assisting with the Pram Race and Its A Knockout, though no doubt the 'do nothing moaners' will still find something to whine about from the comfort of their keyboards.
To be fair though, I have offered my services free of charge and offered suggestions, all via email and not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement that my emails were received :-(

The Air Show are the same. Emails sent and not even an acknowledgement, and how can they expect us to support them, when they cant even say Thank you. Something that costs nothing, but goes a hell of a long way.
@Nelson, eyes of dawlish is no different than this forum, you have to use your real identity on there tho not penames like here. a lot of people on there put forward how they would like the carnival to go and were offering opinions and help, but that is not what they want, and that letter is a smokescreen for the naive among you

After all, the EoD did broadcast that this years Carnival was cancelled, so how on earth can anybody (unless their IQ is the same as their shoe size) believe anything that is said on there?
