I see Ian Birdsey and son have now left the carnival committee/company

 now for the rest and maybe get OUR carnival back

I can't say that it is entirely surprising considering the amount of hostility directed at him. Whether it was deserved is another issue completely 

Interesting times ahead for the carnival committee with chair and vice-chair leaving

The chairman hasnt left yet and I think now you will find he will stay to run his family affair!!!!!
