There's an article about 'our' railway line on page 17 of this week's Dawlish Post. Here's an extract:
"The railway line between Exeter and Newton Abbot is being highlighted by a national body as one of the most spectacular in Britain. It has been chosen by the Royal Geographic Society as having some of the most interesting and diverse geography to explore. Walkers will discover the stunning views and coastal features, as well as the fascinating stories and hidden secrets behind the mixed fortunes of the railway line. From cliff collapses to sea wall breaches, flooded tracks and gale force winds, south Devon's coastal railway line continues to survive as a vital communication link for the people and economy of the south west, despite everything that is thrown at its path."
