After reading my article and recipe for a pasty, I was asked by an overseas reader what exactly is a pasty? 

I have written an extra article (see the link below) on the facts, fiction and legends behind the pasty. Hopefully it will stir some debate and other readers will add to it, agree, disagree etc

Sometimes, late evening, on ocassion, (not often, I promise you!), only a kebab will hit the spot.

I wonder how a pasty "kebab" would work?!!

As a professional, doner kebabs always scare me a little. But they had put a new one on the spit when I was in Newton Abbot a while back and boy was it GOOD! (=|:-D

Oh come on Chef.  What's to be scared about a few slices of luke warm, mostly mechanically reclaimed meat!!!
