Have just come back from having a look at this 4 bed, detached, £315,000 worth of house.

If you also go along bear in mind the following:

1. There are no internal doors in place so you need to imagine them in situ, which way they would open and how much space, when open, they would take up.

2. Also, although the bedrooms have inbuilt wardrobes which, for kids in the smaller bedrooms might be sufficient, would the inbuilt wardrobe in the master bedroom be sufficent for one person's clothes let alone two? And if not, is there room in the bedroom for other wardrobes? (I say that with myself in mind as my clothes are presently spread about in all the wardrobes in all our bedrooms - I joke not).

3.Note there is no internal door to the bathroom. One would definitely be needed. So which way would it open and how much space, when open, would it take up?

Oh, and according to their very plush brochure the site is these times away from the following locations:

Sainsbury's      2 mins

High Street      4 mins

Dawlish Community College   4 mins

Shaftesbury Theatre   6 mins

Starcross Ferry    9 mins

Lynne, you forgot to mention each property includes a complimentary 1000cc Kawasiki motor bike.

Just to point out, the fascia boards were too short and didn't cover the eaves, the bargeboards have exposed untreated ends (will discolour)

Some sockets didn't meet the plaster, inside windows to plaster was siliconed, should be finished with plaster silicone shouldn't be required.

How pretty was that expansion joint on the front of the house.

Gardens are tiny

On the upside, 3 bed for £195k seems value for money, if you want to live in that enviroment.

Makes one wonder why anyone would want to move to Dawlish.  Your opinion is very similar to your previous views about the fantastic Sandpiper development at the Warren...

Nelson, I see no point to your posts, either on this thread or other threads, as they are neither positively or negatively constructive, you just seem to pick at people whatever their comments.

I personally have not seen nor read the thread on the sandpiper development so I therefore am unable to comment.

Just seems like you want an argument, or are you just misunderstood?

I will gracefully bow out now and leave the sniping to those of you who enjoy it.

Good luck and best wishes.

Hi Andysport, Re Nelson, don’t let him get to you, he spent sometime trying and succeeded in finding out who I am –my name-, and continued to put it on this site, when I worked out who he was and put his name he complained to the web master to have it taken off, the web master asked if I wanted my name removed, but he had put it there so many times it would make no difference so I said leave it, he also changed his posting name to the name of my Alsatian Nelson, he also made up an email using the Nelson ........@.... which I have copies as he has of mine

If he gets pleasure or satisfaction out of sniping let him enjoy.
