I see the government are delaying changes re; Forcing you to sell your property to pay for residential care, thus stopping your children getting the inheritance that your parents may wish you to have.
There is a way of avoiding that situation, you need to complete a TR1 form, in other words you make a gift of the property to your children, no money changes hands and a written in clause states they can do nothing with said property until your demise.
