The Olympic flame will arrive in Shaldon at 1737 on Sunday 20th it will cross the bridge and then be taken to Exeter via road a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Olympic flame
Well just the sort of comment i expected personally i have little interest in the Olympics apart from sailing but it is a once in a lifetime experience and my kids cant wait to see the flame and we will be there to cheer it on
If you go to bbc website and then click on news and then click on Olmpics 2012 tab,that will give you all the relevant Information about what streets It Is coming to on a certain day.
A great event with thousands of people and plenty of entertainment. I have a few photos but probably shouldn't post them here since it was a Teignmouth event!! Fascinating to see the 1948 torch as well.
Neilh, you can post some photos if you want to as it is a special occassion and this was as close to Dawlish as the torch came.
