Can someone please tell me on which Dawlish beaches nude sunbathing is permitted.

We fully support naturism here in dawlish, and we wish that others would follow us in our beliefs and ways of life (especially the police). However, I do recommend you look into this further as I'm not too sure of the restrictions on the beaches.

I know dogs can go naked though provided they are on a leash.

This was about 25 years ago - but it really did happen and was widely reported at the time.

Two French Exchange students went on to Dawlish beach - not the main beach, but further down towards Rockstone. The girls took off their bikini tops, much to the annoyance of an elderly Dawlish bloke walking his dogs.

The old gimmer started throwing rocks at them, cursing that they should conceal their shame.

The unknown factor is who reported it to the newspapers. was it them or him?
