Have just come back from the shops, and I am bewildered as to who thought up the routes for the diversions to do with the Strand closure. Confusion is not the word, for people who are not sure where they are going its sending them around in circles. Why could they have not put signs to say Strand is closed at the entrance to High St and Brunswick Place to save people driving up there to only find its closed then having to negotiate all the various diversion signs which is just like trying to find yourself getting out of a maze!!!

The diversion has caused havoc in Plantation Terrace lorries going both directions with one having to reverse, if possible to allow the other to pass, plus a terrific amount of cars and vans, Police have been every day trying to calm drivers down and sort out the mess.

Oh dear. Doesn't bode well for next week when they start re-surfacing Badlake Hill, Weech Road, Lwr. Meadow Rise, Meadow Rise & Meadow Park. Next stop gridlock!
