The Citizens' Advice Bureau will be back in Dawlish, once a week, wef Tuesday 6th March at The Manor House - mornings only.

And I see from today's Gazette that Teignbridge CAB are looking to recruit more volunteers. Something to do with an increase in people needing CAB's services..........

A six week training course for volunteers is due to start in April.

Seems you can't believe everything you read in the papers either (see bottom of Mamhead thread for reference to the veracity or otherwise of things that get posted on this website.)

According to this week's Gazette, CAB are available in Dawlish on Wednesday mornings. That is incorrect. I have just checked with someone I know who is a CAB volunteer. Here are the opening times for the Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Dawlish CAB.

CAB is available in Dawlish on Tuesday mornings as per my original posting and the CAB website.

Used to work in CAB. The training is very intensive for a voluntary service & the workers are dedicated & caring. Always thought it was a shame when they closed in Dawlish. Good luck to Anne & Andy with the outreach service.
