I came across this news article about a plymouth postmistress, now living in Dawlish, who has been accused of defrauding the post office out of £31,000.

I remembered reading a while back that there were concerns about the reliability of the post offices' IT systems. This is an article about it:

It sounds to me her case is similar to the ones mentioned in this article. I wonder if she is aware of this? I have come across accounts packages and spreadsheets in the past with flaws in them so I would not trust the post office system. It would be worth her looking into this unless she actually did steal the money of course, then it is a different matter.
