Dawlish Discussion

Well done to them for winning a makeover competition, but whereabouts in Dawlish is it? We'd like to do 'before and after' visits to it. Purely in the interests of science of course!

It used to be called The Laffinn Pig. It's in Commercial Road. From the town walk up the main road towards Exeter passing the Animals in Distress charity shop on your left. I think Commercial Road is the first turning on your left after this charity shop.

Thanks Lynne. I didn't know it had changed name as I'm pretty sure the old signage is still in place. I stand to be corrected of course. Thanks again for the quick response.

Hi Cosey. Just to clarify, as I think you've missed the point: The makeover at the pub hasn't happened yet. PS I believe that the library has a free copy of the Gazette. Handy if you're ever in town Cosey...

Yes I read it, as I do every week, and it appears in the same place it always has been......
