A pensioner from Dawlish Warren used games to take advantage of two young children he allegedly sexually abused, a court has heard.
It was claimed at Exeter Crown Court that Robin Pitts indecently touched a young boy and girl using a 'game' analogy.
Prosecutor Andrew Oldland said Pitts, now 68, had told both of his victims to keep the abuse secret.
Pitts of Warren Road, has pleaded not guilty to four charges of sexual assault and two of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
