Hospitals hit by yobs

Hospitals at Dawlish,Teignmouth,Newton Abbott,Ashburton,Bovey Tracey and Moretonhampstead have had tighter security after thefts, vandalism and aggressive behaviour towards staff.
Additional cctv cameras and perimeter security lighting have been installed as well as anti-vandal paint been used on drain pipes and foliage removed from the front of hospital buildings to prevent vandals from hiding.
The public have been asked to remain vigilant and report any incidents which threatens both staff and buildings by dialing 999 while information may be passed in confidence to the police via the crimestoppers number 0800 555 111.
