Does anyone know when the Christmas Market is going to be this year in Dawlish? I love the atmosphere it brings to the town.

I agree i go every year and the kids love it .i especially enjoy daves mulled wine.
It would be good for Dawlish if there was a market like that once a week 'all year round' and close the Strand for the day .. car free shopping would br great !
Did Dawlish ever have a proper weekly market years ago ?
To the best of my knowledge, D. has never been a 'market town' in the classic sense of the word.
I'll look forward to my mulled wine and mince pie again this year. See you all there, Thanks.
Dawlish Market? Are you people mad? Closing off the strand for the day with no regard for other religions. I mean do we close off a main street for Hanukkah or Quanza? Yet again the small mindedness of Dawlish Dominates the Majority. Disgusting.........
Think they better change the name to Dawlish Festive Seasonal Market - keep all the politically correct arses happy. What a load of boll*cks!
You cant do anything to keep people happy can you?
Re prevous posting ...
I can see soon Dec 25 being called 'Presents Day' .. it has no meaning to so many..which would be of no surprise as schools do not set any Christian standard.
Most Christmas cards have Santa and presents on.
People want premium pay if they work over festivals ..and if the day falls on a Sunday have3 extra dats off work..yet on the other hand the days mean nothing at all or they just dont want to know.
Just because people give christmas cards and the streets and towns are filled with decorations, does this mean that we should add to this by holding a christmas market? what about the minority?
