Just been told ladys mile holiday park is up for sale. any body heard the same ?.

Does that mean Oakcliff is forsale as well, im sure they own them both. Doesnt suprise me, im afraid they arent very well run from what ive heard. They used to be very busy, but dont seem to be now.
Might be worth finding out how much it is going for .sure it would be a good investment.

I expect the owner was disappointed that Tesco couldn't get planning permission to build on the site. Would have been a nice little (or big) earner!
how much do you think they are going for ? . i would like to buy both parks. sure i could make a go of it . keep some local people in work . try make them better. got to be worth a go.
They both seem very good holiday parks and were always busy. From what ive heard from people that have stayed, the owner is pretty clueless,the maintenance is shoddy, and Oakcliff has looked like a building site for years. It seems they have also priced themselves out the market.i remember someone saying it was over £1000 a week in the summer and over £300 in the winter. I did try and look at the website but it seems its not been updated for over a year.How can they expect people to book when they are showing last years booking form and prices. I suppose that proves they are badly run.
Still can not find any info it they are for sale . will have to look in to it more. if anybody can help me on this that would be great.

I do now they was charging £300 pound from Monday to Friday last week ( half term) has a friend of mine got in touch with Ladysmile to see what the prices where. In the end went to Cofton Park that was half the price.

As a visitor (holiday maker) to dawlish for the last 20 something years, 15 of them spent
at Ladysmile and Oakcliff I was quite surprised to see them sold.
After search on the net and finding nothing I rang ladysmile told them I had heard
it had been sold and enquired about next years holiday. They expressed great
surprise and assured me neither site had been sold and there were no plans
to sell them, anyone got any thoughts?

Cluless, what a great little post you have going on here, 4 letter words what big people you all must be.
I've been called alot worse but maybe some of you would like to vist us and have a look around to see what we do offer. I'm not going to be pulled into your little gossip shop as I have far better things to do. Maybe some of you could find somthing better to do charity work would be helpfull.
Any way as you can read in the local paper we are inveting over £2m this year. As I also said everything is for sale at the right price so a lot of you can keep dreaming.

That would be me then, seeing as I have lived here all my life. What is your problem? Just because some people move to Dawlish, does Not mean they are not worthy of an opinion on how our town progresses or suchlike. My family is Dawlish through and through, however, I welcome others and their opinions. Its people like you that do my head in....

Rainbow1, yeah up at seaway mate. Also dont forget the cost of a caravan in the first place the pods will give more people the chance to visit our lovly town and not have a soddern tent to go back to. The more choice you give the better. But what do I know i am after all 'CLULESS'
