Great news!

I think that's a mistake, moving it out of school holidays and not being a weekend will mean a lot of people won't be able to attend.

They may just have shot themselves in the foot there - but I suspect the Carnival Committee were holding the gun...

Ok just discovered that there will be school holidays then.

But I sincerely hope that the air show does not continue at that time every year.

Its in half term week end of Jubilee week

I hope it does, spring half term every year, gives Dawlish 2 seperate crowd pullers, and some people come on holiday in spring because they cant afford prices in summer holidays.

I think its a great move. As Brazilnut says , a massive boost to the town early in the holiday season .

Will also mean that more effort can be concentrated for carnival week.

I agree the two events should be separated, not least due to the ill-feeling between the two committees and some very petty behaviour. I'm just not convinced that is the best time of year - although the weather is usually better so it may prove to be a good idea.

I shall look forward to the Dawlish Airshow. I've seen quite a few photographs of it and it looks like a great event!
