To Whom It May Concern,

Somerfield is indeed closing! It will close at the beginning on Feb and is handed over to Co-Op on the 15th Feb. That is the good news.

The bad news. All of the Somerfield staff will become Co-Op staff. Well, those that want to stay!

My advice stock up! There will be hardly anything in the store after Christmas! Just like summer!

Goodbye Scummerfield, and hello Co-Op!!

Why keep same staff? Ever heard of the saying - "You cant polish a turd!"

Not many people I know shop in Somerfields or Coop as we go to Tescos or Sainsburys.

The Coop in Teignmouth is actually quite good considering Teignmouth is a small town, but I only go there for convenience.

If the new Coop in Dawlish is as good it will save me having to go to Teignmouth, so its not such a bad thing.
