Tesco has confirmed it has dropped its controversial plans to build a store at Sandy Lane, Dawlish.
The land at Sandy Lane which is used by Dawlish Town Football Club is no longer a consideration. The company has said it will be unveiling plans for a store at another site within the next few weeks.
