Club champions Samantha Kenshole (Dawlish) and Rebecca Ley (Torquay) have won through to today's finals at the Ivybridge Junior Open with brothers Benjamin and Oliver Tyrrell making a late charge in the boys' 14 and under singles.

A top-quality entry and large overall draw at the South Devon Tennis Centre has seen the tournament extended to six days this year and Kenshole completed her run to the girls' 16 and under final with victory over Hannah Cadwallader 6-2, 6-1.Torquay schoolgirl Emily Plester reached the quarter-finals before going down to second seed Lara Graney 6-3, 6-0 with the Exeter girl booking her place in the final line-up by beating Penny Tilsley (Cornwall) 6-2, 6-1.

Galmpton's Rebecca Ley is just one win away from the 12 and under title with the reigning Devon 10 and under champion beating Emma Hurst (Seaton) 6-1, 6-0 in the semi-finals.

In the girls' 14 and under singles, Sasha Kershaw (Dawlish) defeated Leanne Fletcher (Exmouth) 6-2, 6-2 to reach the last eight.
