Dawlish Discussion

Got up this morning.The sun was shining and the sea view from my lounge window was invigorating to behold, so took a walk into Town via the sea wall.Through the lawn, up around the manor house and walking back into the town centre saying hello to the odd person who wished to greet me with the same happy enthusiasm. On the route I sat down atleast 4 times just enjoying the "moment" ,the surroundings and wildlife. Yes, Dawlish is a truly pleasant place to live, of which I feel proud to belong to the community!

Nice one Karateka, good to know that loyalty to the Olde Towne is alive and well. I too spent many hours just walking and appreciating Dawlish for what it was, and it gave me great feeling of contentment. I wonder what your feelings for Dawlish would have been 55 years ago, which was when I was last there? Even better I'd imagine.
