Anyone on here know whether there is any intention to clear the green slime from the brook/stream/Daw? Nobody bothered to clear it until far too late last summer; in my opinion pre-emptive action needs to be taken. Of course I would be happy to offer my services as a volunteer.

Hmmmm, well I doubt that the Waterfowl Warden or the rest of the Town Council staff will be round long enough to do it - unless the new DTC get their act in gear and pay them properly. (Dawlish Gazette)
I would be surprised if volunteers would be welcomed - nobody in the Council offices to do a risk assessment or ensure the insurance is in place.
