Royal British Legion Party in the Park.
Many congratulations to the members of the Dawlish Royal British Legion for organising the most fantastic day yesterday, the Party in the Park.
The whole day was most enjoyable.
I would also like to congratulate the legion members who done a fantastic job on clearing the lawn this morning.
I walked past just before 8am, and the whole of the lawn was scattered with litter and glass, but the small band of volunteers soon had it cleared and back to normal.
One sour note regarding last night, was the mindless vandalism after the event had finished and which the legion cannot be held responsible for.
Slabs removed from the bowling green and broken glass.
On the whole, a great day, and once again, many congratulations to the Royal British Legion.
Looking forward to the next one you organise.
