Daw Vale is in the local rag again as Devon County Council continues its plans for the modernisation of the long-standing residential home. According to the local rag there has been interest from the private sector of which the council is concentrating on two care providers.
There is, however, a contingency plan which the council’s executive - Cllr John Rawlinson - is considering this week. This involves bids for larger tenders in October should the current negotiations fail to be proved acceptable.
Cllr John Rawlinson is not one for rushing into decisions.
