Does anybody have any idea what is opening in the old Moose shop?

Yes, it is going to be an Old Fashioned Sweet shop, as per the one in Teignmouth. Added to the new fudge shop Sticky Fingers and Gays, and of course the well established Jen's Sweet Shop which I hope locals will continue to support in preference to these 'newbies'.

Gonna be a great town for a new Dentist practice methinks

Don't forget the new Thorntons in town. I understand the dentist's practice out at Shutterton could do with a few more customers anyway.

The pensioners who get off the coaches wont have far to walk then, to get thier oldern day sweet fix. Better a sweet shop than an empty eye sore. At least these type of shops have the majority of its stock made in Britain, unlike supermarkets and newsagents , where most of its stock, especially chocolate, is now manufactured abroad.
