Response to closure of care homes

More than 230 people have taken part in a consultation process, launched a month ago, on the future of four care homes in Devon. Devon County Council's social services is considering closing the homes in Ashburton, Bampton, Cullompton and Dawlish as part of a services review. Social services managers will be at Cullompton Town Council's meeting on Thursday night to debate the plans. There will be stakeholder meetings at all of the homes next week.
