Dawlish Town have opened up a four-point lead at the top of Division One following a comfortable 3-0 home win over Minehead. The success came on the back of player-manager Chris Myers and his assistant Adam Kerswell being named as the division's joint managers of the month, and was Dawlish's 12th win of what has been an incredible season so far. Goals from Carl Cliff-Brown, Radley Veale and Craig Fenner secured the Seasiders their latest win and, as Myers explained, the victory was a fairly comprehensive one. He said: "The first half was evenly matched and was 50-50 really. We were rusty having had our game called off last week. It was 0-0 at half-time and we asked some questions of the lads but, in the second half, they answered them. "The first goal settled us down and I was very pleased with the attitude of the lads after that. Once we were 1-0 up we were never going to lose."
