Carl Cliff-Brown netted twice as Dawlish Town shot to the top of the Division One table with a 2-0 win over Odd Down. Dawlish started the day behind inactive leaders Portishead and knew a win would put them top. And with four games in hand over their promotion rivals, things are looking good for Town boss Chris Myers. "We are in a strong position now and it's down to playing the right sort of football," said Myers. "We are getting a lot of passing and movement into our game and that's creating plenty of chances for our midfielders and strikers." Cliff-Brown bagged his first goal when Mark Forrester angled a cross in past the Odd Down keeper and the striker popped up at the far post to score. Goal number two came just before the break when Derek Fields crossed from the right and the Odd Down defence hesitated, letting Cliff-Brown in again.
