Independent candidates for May's council elections

As I'm picking up very strongly that we may well have Independent candidates for whom to vote on our town council ballot papers in May I wondered if we might be having the same choice in terms of our district council candidates.
Dawlish returns 5 councillors to Teignbridge District Council and all 5 seats will also be up for grabs at the May election. Presently all 5 councillors are Conservative (and all 5 are also Dawlish Town Councillors).
