had my car scratched up tues night parked on high street, TI OK and a huge X on bonet and deep scratches down passengere side :P

doubt will ever find the gutless little %^$£ that done it but would so love to get my han on them

I thought the high street has double yellows from one end to the other no waiting at any time maybe someone took offence

Yes so did I. Often seen a car in evenings parked half on the road and half on the pavement near the now closed jewellery shop, you had to walk into the road go round it or squeeze pass it. Pavements are for walkers.

It is still not acceptable to scratch someone's car even if it is parked illegally. Could it have been an accident truckerash from someone trying to squeeze by?

Parking in town is very limited, so parking along High street is perfectly acceptable.

Sounds like some jealous little gits, truckerash.

In fairness, there is a car park by the taxi rank, and another just around the corner, both free between 6 p.m. until 9 a.m., so I wouldn't say parking on double yellows is perfectly acceptable.
