Gerald's convenience store coming to Dawlish. Gerald's have bought the newsagents on the corner of Brookdale Terrace and will reopen in a couple of weeks after refurbishment.

Gerald's? Is that the convenience store at the Warren? If so, are they moving or expanding? I ask as they are bound to be terribly adversely affected at the Warren once Sainsbury's opens up at Shutterton Bridge.

well to be honest geralds is alot cheaper then sainsburys...... i think they are expanding....obviously they gotta lot of competion... all we can do is see what happens

geralds sells short dated goods and cheap rubbish gifts when sainsbury and maybe tesco comes it will finish them completely r.i.p geralds

Bet they use their DAWLISH shop to sell cheap booze. Just what the local wineos need, not far to walk to the happy huts, At least its another shop occupied in Town unlike many others
