A 17-year-old is recovering in Torbay Hospital after being stabbed in the leg on Satuday evening. The teenager, who was not local, was walking through Brunswick Place at around 11pm when he was assaulted. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Early Sunday morning a trail of blood could be seen along Brunswick Place and on to the Lawn, and the police soon taped off the area for forensic tests. The police were also in Brunswick Sunday attending to a separate incident connected to the takeaway 'Chic-o-Land'. The facts about this incident have not been reported, but the incident is believed to be personal. Chic-o-land was closed until further notice.
