What has happened to Eyes of Dawlish on Feacebook? Seems to have vanished overnight.

Thought it was me/my computer! Not that I post (I do that here) but I like to have a read every now and then.

No Dawlish Facebook, maybe Dawlish.com could think about starting a facebook!! Just a thought.

I think that EOD fulfils the need and complements Dawlish.com. Both can be, by turns, informative, chatty, interesting and irritating.

Have a look at Facebook 'Dawlish' ..they seem a bit more grown up than EOD.

i think the eyes of dawlish should be closed down permananly due to the simple fact it evades peoples privacy, its a form of spreading foul rumors witch none ive ever found to be true, never gets its facts right and nor does it ever answer questions correctly it it a discrace of a website and anouther way of people spying on outher and concoting bull s**t no wonder ther people that started it up dont want to be known they would be arrseted and battered for all the lies and incorrect information they ost and when yo try and correct them informing them exactly what is going on they block you close down get rid i have already launched a complaint with fb its a discrace to the town!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with wondering Facebook should be closed down legally and for good its nothing more than a protected avenue for shit stirring, personal abuse and any other form of slander the sad people who use it care to abuse.

Can understand the irony bit, yes I am very sarcastic and I do consider myself to have a sense of humour.

Hypocrit dont agree, I stand for nothing but whats right I dont use Facebook and certainly do not insult or verbaly abuse people unless their stood in front of me, big companies and useless institutions maybe, but after all this is meant to be a country of free speech where people are entittled to their own opinions.

I cant understand the logic on this one, on FB you have a profile along with your name so when you post on Eyes of Dawlish everybody can see who you are, so if you make disparaging remarks you leave yourself well open. On here with usernames nobody knows who you are so you can say what you like without reproach, and do we not gossip on here also sometimes with misinformation, hmmmm

I'm glad you can see that my post was in jest (hence the smiley face). I've no idea who you are, so unfortunately I can't call in to wherever you are. I'm glad you don't drive a Frontera though! That might, just might, have swing my vote elsewhere! ;-)
