Has anyone walked along the cliff path towards Dawlish Warren recently and noticed a large tent hidden in the undergrowth on the cliff edge. There is music and movement coming from the tent. Could someone be living or (hiding) there!!!!!!!!!!
The tent has been there for a very long time, it is rumoured to be used by a local going by the name of Dawlish Man. I've been using Red Rock for donkeys years and remember seeing when I walked from the Warren.
If its the one that you can see from Red rock, then its been there at least a year. Looked to have holes in it so id be suprised if anyone was staying in it. Perhaps its Roy , he disappeared about that time.Although his nurse said he passed away.
So what happened to Roddy the Rooster? When Roy morphed into "Dawlish, Manners Timothy" there was no mention of his beloved cock. COME ON DAWLISH MAN WHERE ARE YOU, ME AND MRS AGENT WANT YOU BACK.......for our usual chuckle about your rants about all and sundry. Come back as Viaduct or Joey Deacon or even Chicken Shed. My body is old but my mind is still young and I know who you are Mr D Man :)
Roddy met an untimely end and was to be stuffed and preserved in a glass case. I don't believe that Joey was one of Roy's personalites (comments from one of EOD regulars welcome.) Chicken Shed, certainly. Viaduct also unlikely - different preoccupation. Plenty of room for speculation. My guess is that Mr. and Mrs. Man are on holiday. Dawlish, Manners Timothy reminds me of 1968. Must be the talk of returning as someone else. On which topic, is it better to have one personality under different names or different personalities under the same name?
If its been there for a long time how come the estate agents havent tried to sell it as a compact dwelling?
Bijou and in a stunning location would be my suggestions but Dave would be able to give a professional gloss to it. Any ideas, DEA?
I think things have gone off track. There is definitively something going on as there is sound of a radio etc!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave, Magnificent. If the remains of Lidwell Chapel ever come up for sale, I bet they force you to act for them, Don
Ha ha but is it really him? Give us a clue, Dave, or we'll be Forced to keep guessing. As for the bijou residence (tent, to you and I), is it the same one that used to be at Coryton Cove up to a few weeks back? If so, apparently a bag lady was living in it but got fed up with the rumble of trains & shrieking winos & left for a more desirable area.
