Dawlish Town manager Chris Myers will be helped in his quest to revive the club's ailing fortunes next season with an "attractive bonus structure" to offer potential players. Myers took over at Sandy Lane last autumn when Town were rooted to the foot of the table and morale was low in a team that couldn't compete in the Western League Premier Division. His influence steadily turned round Town's season. They finished above Devon rivals Elmore thanks to improved performances and results, but their status for next season will be known tonight when league officials decide whether or not to send Town and the Eagles down into the First Division. Either way, Dawlish chairman Nigel Gooding is pleased with Myers's work and has backed him to continue the revival next season.
