Thought I'd start a new thread specifically concerning Tesco's Appeal. For info: the Grounds of Appeal are: 1. That Lady's Mile Holiday Park is the most appropriate location in planning policy terms. and 2. Since Tesco's original planning application was refused planning permission has been granted "for the provision of compensatory holiday accommodation". I've put that last bit in inverted commas not only because I am quoting but also because the planning permission granted to LMHP to expand was, in my opinion and that of quite a few others, so that it could increase the overall number of units available on its site which is not the same thing at all as expanding in order to provide compensatory accommodation which would thus enable Tesco to build. Tesco's Appeal will be heard over approximately 4 days starting at 10.00am on 11th May 2010. It will be heard at Forde House (TDC Council offices), Newton Abbot. Members of the public can attend.
